November, 2002-July, 2006, Secretary of General Party Branch in College of Agriculture of Jilin Agricultural University; engaged in Research on Cultivation Physiology of Good Quality and High Yield of Maize and High Efficient Utilization of Resource;

August, 2006-May, 2015, Director in Crop Research Center of Jilin Agricultural University; engaged in Research on Physiological and Ecological Mechanism of High Yield of Maize and Cultivation Control.

Presided over 30 projects, such as National Science and Technology Support Plan, Transferred funds of Ministry of Science and Technology, State "863", Science and Technology Agency of Jilin Province, Finance and Department of Jilin Province, Agriculture Development Office of Jilin Province, Agriculture Committee of Jilin Province etc. Examined and approved 2 new products of maize and 2 new products of sorghum, and compiled 4 textbooks; published more than 50 pieces of academic paper; cultivated 86 doctor students and postgraduate students, guided more than 200 undergraduates.

Realized innovative achievements in aspect of key technology research, such as Physiological-biochemical Characteristic of Maize, Mechanism of Stress Tolerance of Maize (Resistance of chilling damage, Resistance of lodging) and Stress Resistance and High Yield. Provide important theoretical basis for high-yield cultivation of maize and variety breeding and provide technical support for high and stable yield of maize of Jilin Province. Have insisted on carrying out developing agriculture through science and education in the forefront of agriculture production for many years. Performed demonstration and extension of 8 technologies in midland areas of Jilin Province, such as Stress Tolerance of Maize, high yield, dependable crop, high efficiency etc. In western semi-arid region, promoted high-yield culture technique of Maize of Drip Irrigation under film mulching two lines and water saving high-yield culture technique of maize in dry farming. Production growth is 31.5% more than ordinary yield. Made great contribution to increase of production and income of local farmers. Through technological project implementation, pushed development of rural cooperative organization. Realize large-scale and standardized production of maize. Provided beneficial experience for Jilin Province to quicken agricultural development course.
